Skincare That Makes You Glow
My most reached-for skincare products that give your skin a serious glow.
Imagine the scene now - I’m just waking up and, groggily, reach over to my bedside table. Just as I’m about to hit snooze, I find my hands upon four of my favourite skincare products - hope is restored, the day has officially begun and I know that 2019 is going to be my year… Who I am kidding, that’s a huge exaggeration, but, hopefully you get the point - these are four beauty products that keep my glowy-skinned dreams alive and that I never want far from my reach.
Most of the time my beauty goal is to closely walk the thin line between looking glowy and greasy, and all of these products play their part in achieving this objective. A glowy complexion first and foremost starts with hydrated skin, and the Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin Daily Vitamin Defence Serum is the perfect ‘glass of water’ for your skin - this serum is packed with antioxidants that nourish your skin while helping to fight off blemishes and redness. For eye cream it is no secret that I am obsessed with the Origins GinZing Eye Cream, not only does it have a slight peach undertone that helps to hide under eye circles, it also has a very faint hint of shimmer to brighten up the under-eye area and add to your overall glow.
The Glossier Priming Moisturiser is the perfect everyday moisturiser, similar in theory to the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré (even though I have to say the Emrbyolisse version is the superior of the two). It is not the most dewy product but it does really hydrate my skin and leave it feeling comfortable even underneath all of my makeup. As this also helps to prime your skin it ensures that all of your makeup goes on smoothly and that your highlighters aren’t showing up any dry patches or pores. To finish off the skincare I spritz a little bit of the Pixi Rose Glow Mist all over my face, this is the product that is really going to take your glow to the next level, sometimes I will spray this over my makeup when I’ve finished for times when I don’t think I am close enough to that greasy line.
