Four Makeup Products are All You Need

Okay so maybe I am being a bit unnecessarily exaggerative by saying I would only need 4 makeup products in my life, but you get the gist. In this world of beauty there are so many products to choose from, and I can hold my hands up and say that I am not the most loyal beauty buyer ever - constantly changing up my routine and testing new things - but there are those select few products that I know are going to stay in my collection for the long haul.

Bourjois City Radiance Foundation

Everyone knows and loves the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, but I can’t understand why it’s glowier sister isn’t getting as much recognition. The Bourjois City Radiance Foundation is everything you could want - medium, buildable coverage that feels light on the skin and gives you sufficient glow without looking oily, while staying in place all day. Blended in with my favourite RT sponge, this is an absolute dream - I have no other words to say about this foundation other than that it is absolutely perfect and if you haven’t tried it yet - you need to.

BareMinerals Invisible Glow Powder

I am done with the over-the-top highlighter trend - I’m leaving behind my days of ‘blinding’ highlights and instead opting for an overall glow, something this powder knows exactly how to do. Similar to the infamous Hourglass powders, the BareMinerals Invisible Glow Powder is finely-milled, giving you the perfect ethereal glow. I find that this is the perfect cherry-on-top to any makeup look, making me look healthy radiant without being too over-the-top.

Makeup For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion Bronzer

I love this bronzer so much, as someone with awfully pale skin I have always found it hard to find a product that makes me look sun-kissed and tanned without being orange - and this is the perfect shade. The colour is not too warm, and not too cool with a little bit of shimmer to add radiance and sheen and lasts all day long as it is waterproof. It blends perfectly, doesn’t look powdery whatsoever and looks completely natural.

Glossier Boy Brow

I can be a little crazy when it comes to my eyebrows, I am lucky enough to have pretty full dark eyebrows naturally that don’t really take much work - but, I am incredibly picky when it comes to products. Most days I use an eyebrow pencil to fill in my eyebrows just a little bit, and then I’ll go over with Glossier Boy Brow to add some fullness and also keep all the hairs in place, and on lazier days I just run this through my brows and it adds enough colour and volume that I still feel just as put together.
